The Challenge
Wesendall is a web platform for sending bulk SMS and email campaigns, managing contact lists, and topping up a wallet via Mobile Money. It serves Ugandan businesses, NGOs, schools, churches and developers who need a local SMS API without navigating telecom infrastructure, wallet top-ups and contact management separately. The project required a deep understanding of the domain and a meticulous approach to user experience design. We needed to build something that was not only visually stunning but also incredibly fast and reliable at scale.
Our Solution
Wesendall wraps a bulk SMS provider and Resend email behind a single wallet-based dashboard and REST API, with atomic balance charging (refund-on-failure), contact group management including Google Contacts sync and CSV import, and a developer integration page with API keys and code snippets. Built on Next.js server actions with NextAuth (JWT) and Prisma, deployed on Vercel.
