Committed

Committed is a mobile app that turns the invisible daily work of shipping code — commits, pull requests opened, PRs reviewed, issues closed — into a live, ranked, screenshot-friendly leaderboard. Dev productivity is invisible day to day: GitHub insights are per-repo and buried, Slack commit bots are noisy and easy to game, and nothing gives developers the 'open the app, see your rank' dopamine loop. The project required a deep understanding of the domain and a meticulous approach to user experience design. We needed to build something that was not only visually stunning but also incredibly fast and reliable at scale.

Committed connects to GitHub via OAuth and webhooks, normalizes every git event into an activity feed, and recomputes a composite Commit Score — weighting commits, PRs merged, PRs reviewed and issues closed so quality and generosity count as much as raw volume. Streaks, medals, multi-team 'clubs' and a club-scoped group chat with one-tap Cheer/Nudge/Taunt reactions all live in one Expo app over a Go (Gin) API, shipped to iOS and Android with EAS Build and OTA updates. Built on the Grit framework and live on Google Play.
