The Challenge
HMK Living needed more than a website. They needed a connected suite spanning four platforms: a public booking site, an agentic AI chatbot that handles bookings on both the website and WhatsApp, a mobile app for property owners, and a desktop tool for the front-desk team — all sharing a single source of truth. The project required a deep understanding of the domain and a meticulous approach to user experience design. We needed to build something that was not only visually stunning but also incredibly fast and reliable at scale.
Our Solution
We shipped the entire four-platform stack on Desishub's Grit Framework — Go backend, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cloudflare R2, all containerised with Docker. The marketing and booking website runs on Next.js. The mobile owner app is built with Expo / React Native. The desktop front-desk tool uses Wails (Go's native desktop framework). The AI chatbot lives on both the website embed and the WhatsApp Business API, powered by the Vercel AI SDK with OpenAI / Claude models. Currently being used to process shop payments while booking volume ramps.
