Shoppleet

Shoppleet is the offline-first POS suite for East African retailers. Nine modules cover sales, stock, multi-branch sync, accounting, IMEI-locked inventory, granular roles, suppliers, reporting, and returns. The non-negotiable: every till keeps running when the internet drops, and the books always reconcile when connectivity returns. The project required a deep understanding of the domain and a meticulous approach to user experience design. We needed to build something that was not only visually stunning but also incredibly fast and reliable at scale.

We built the full four-platform suite on Desishub's Grit Framework: a marketing website at shoppleet.com, the desktop POS that runs entirely offline, a mobile companion app for cashiers and managers, and a web admin portal for HQ with real-time multi-branch reporting. PostgreSQL online + SQLite offline gives the offline-first behaviour. Mobile money handles MTN and Airtel payments. Hardware integration covers receipt printers, barcode scanners, and IMEI tracking. Custom RBAC gives each branch and cashier exactly the permissions they need.
