Dan Lite

Dan Lite is an internal operations system for a concrete paver manufacturer, covering procurement, production, curing, multi-branch inventory, sales and cash collection. Making paving blocks involves many interlocking steps — buying raw materials, running batch production against a recipe, curing before anything is sellable, and collecting payment — and tracking that on spreadsheets loses the real cost and stock position. The project required a deep understanding of the domain and a meticulous approach to user experience design. We needed to build something that was not only visually stunning but also incredibly fast and reliable at scale.

Dan Lite models the whole flow as connected resources: purchase orders feed goods-received notes and raw-material stock, production orders scale a recipe snapshot into batches, a curing gate decides when goods become sellable, and sales orders flow into invoices and receipts. Branch scoping, approval workflows on sensitive edits, and computed variance/wastage reports keep the numbers trustworthy, all on a Go/Gin API. Internal v1 tool.
